Resolution scaling

I currently making a game with tIDE and I really liked it so far. It works like a charm for collision detection, but I've run into the issue of the resolution.

I'd like to be able to scale the map to my resolution. Unlike the demo, which adjust the viewport and there is "just more viewable" of the map, I'd like to scale the map itself, so that the same space as before is viewable.

Does tIDE support that?

tIDE, or rather the rendering engine xTile, does not support resolution scaling out of the box. You could however make your own IDisplayDevice interface implementation. I suggest you have a look at the source of XnaDisplayDevice (in the xTile source repository) and the MapPanel control in the tIDE repository. The former is an XNA implementation of the renderer used within xTile. The latter is a GDI+ implementation used by the editor and it supports zooming. Perhaps you could combine features of the two in your own implementation.

Hope that helps.
